EXECUTIVE - DEVELOPMENT MERCHANDISER

(BASED AT ATHURUGIRIYA)

Scope

We are looking for a dynamic young professional with a passion to further an advanced career in Merchandising. Working with an experienced, credible professional team, you can aspire to become a sought-after professional in the future. The Ideal candidate should be an energetic, team player with excellent communication skills - hardworking towards delivering end objectives by working seamlessly in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide the sample development process in line with customer standards and drive towards commercializing developments to ensure customer retention growth.
• Effectively co-ordinate the execution of orders on a timely basis and achieve the relevant pre-defined delivery targets.
• Responsible to manage critical path and bear responsibility for 100% customer co-ordination and 100% on time performance.
• Work with planning team to book capacity, with development team on future forecasts and book greige prior to receipt of orders.
• In depth understanding on related process and systems in order to provide solutions to manufacturing locations.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree/Diploma or professional Qualification in Marketing or Merchandising.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Development Merchandising.
• Sound communication skills and fluency in English.
• Strong negotiation & Analytical Skills.
