Senior Audit Associate

Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct audit engagements in compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Review and evaluate clients' financial statements, internal controls, and accounting systems.
- Identify and communicate audit findings to clients, offering valuable recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise and guide audit teams, providing support and feedback throughout the process.
- Collaborate with clients to address queries and ensure the smooth flow of audit activities.
- Stay updated with changes in auditing regulations and best practices.
- Assist in the development of audit plans and strategies.
- Play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Following Corporate Level at CASL / Applied Skills Level at ACCA/ Operational Level at CIMA or similar professional background.
- Final Year undergraduate/ Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have completed a minimum of 2 years of practical training in External Auditing as an Audit Associate in a reputed audit firm.
- Thorough understanding of audit methodologies, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Computer literacy, MS Office.
- Good analytical and report writing skills.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills (Both Sinhala and English).
- Self-motivated individuals with an ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior auditors.
- Ability to meet the deadline & ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
