Senior Product Trainer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver training modules on electronic and home appliance products for showroom staff, service teams, and new recruits.
- Collaborate with product managers and suppliers to stay updated on product specifications, updates, and market trends.
- Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate participant knowledge retention and product understanding.
- Coordinate with sales and service teams to identify product training needs and skill gaps.
- Facilitate both classroom and on-site training sessions using demonstrations, simulations, and interactive methodologies.
- Prepare and maintain product training manuals, visual aids, SOPs, and FAQs.
- Maintain an updated product knowledge database on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Professional certification in Training & Development is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product training or technical training, preferably in electronics, home appliances, or consumer durables.
- Prior experience in sales/service functions is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of home appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, ovens, etc.) and consumer electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, datasheets, and schematics.
- Experience with LMS platforms and digital content creation is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
