The Japan Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association, widely recognized as JASTECA, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering ties between Japan and Sri Lanka. Founded on a vision of cultural exchange and technical collaboration, JASTECA serves as a bridge connecting the two nations through various programs, initiatives, and partnerships.

We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Accountant and an Account Assistant to join our team and make a difference!

Qualification

Accountant

• Fully qualified in AAT, partly qualified in CA or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (minimum 2 years).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Account Assistant

• GCE A/L in Commerce stream, partly qualified in AAT or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent will be given priority.

Compensation

Competitive package offered for the right candidate.

Reports to

Senior Manager

Priority will be given to candidates from close proximity.
