MANAGEMENT TRAINEE MARKETING (BATTARAMULLA / MATARA)

David Pieris Motor Company (Lanka) Limited is the largest automotive manufacturing company and a member of the David Pieris Group which is one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka with diversified interests in automotive products and services, financial services, logistics & warehouse operations, racing & leisure, information & communication technologies, real estate and investment property, shipping & marine services and renewable energy.

Selected candidates will receive a strong foundation in a dynamic environment, enabling them to grow and thrive within the automotive industry for one year with an attractive remuneration package during the training period.

Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be absorbed into the Executive cadre.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business, Economics, Management, Administration or a related field from a recognised university.
• Full or part qualification related to Marketing from a professional body such as CIM / SLIM would be an added advantage.
• A dynamic value-based team player with high learning agility and passion to challenge the status quo.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• IT related qualifications and knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and handle different business matters when required.
• Familiar with MS Office Package.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Sinhala. Tamil would be an added advantage.
