QA Assistant Manager

We are into manufacturing of high quality pharmaceuticals and cosmetics products under a WHO GMP approved facility with state of the art QA and R&D laboratories. Being one of the largest of its kind we have the capacity to supply across the country.

We are in the search for a QA Assistant Manager for immediate engagement for our pharmaceutical manufacturing factory at Bandaragama. Salary and other benefits are attractive and negotiable.

Qualifications

  • BSc Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification
  • MSc in the relevant field will be an added advantage
  • More than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • People management and Team work skills

Responsibilities

  • Conducting internal audits and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing a team of QA professionals and collaborating with other departments to maintain product quality and safety throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Handling and overseeing Change Control, Deviations, Out of Specification reports, Market Complaints, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Preparing Audit Compliance Reports.
  • Preparing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Preparing the Calibration Master Plan and Validation Master Plan.
  • Overseeing all calibration activities, both internal and external, and maintaining related records.
  • Responsible for Equipment Qualification and documentation control.
  • Conducting Vendor Qualification and following up regularly for updated documentation from suppliers.
  • Preparing Process Validation Protocols and Reports.
  • Preparing Cleaning Validation Protocols and Reports.
