Wharf Assistant/Wharf Division

Competencies

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the wharf field
• Must have a valid Customs House agents pass (CHA), Port Entry permit (RPU) and Cargo clearing permit (B or A Pass)
• Excellent communication skills in English language and fluency in additional languages will be considered an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, documentation requirements, and IT systems within the logistics domain
• Computer literacy with hands-on experience in Office 365 and IT systems and software relevant to logistics operations
• Young, energetic and self-motivated team player

Scope & Responsibilities

• Ability to work with government authorities related to the wharf comply with the regulatory policies & procedures
• Familiar to work on the new system of Sri Lanka Customs Asycuda/online
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Ensure all imports & exports are aligned with regulations with Sri Lanka Customs/Sri Lanka Port Authority, and other local government authorities
