We are seeking an individual to focus on
maintaining a constant improvement approach in finance planning process to ensure processes and controls keep up with changes in business, organization, economy, technology, and accounting.
What you do
- Manage quarterly and monthly rolling forecast exercises for operating expenditures by addressing user inquiries and analyzing significant variances in forecast figures.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic planning.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain a continuous improvement approach to ensure that processes and controls adapt to changes in the business environment, organizational dynamics, economic conditions, technological advancements, and accounting standards.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
What you bring
- Associate member or Past Finalist of CIMA/ACCA, CA Sri Lanka or a Bachelor's Degree in the Finance or Accounting from a recognized institute/university.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Audit of financial reporting processes will be an added advantage.
- Being a strategist with analytical thinking, with the ability to handle any turbulent situations with minimum supervision.
- Excellent leadership skills whilst being able to motivate and develop high performing finance team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MIS with excellent MS excel skill.
