COUNSELLOR (FULL-TIME)
We are looking for dedicated, motivated and passionate individuals to join the Musaeus College Student Support Unit on full time or part time basis. Musaeus College Student Support Unit ensure mental health and wellbeing of students by assisting them with personal or academic issues.
Expectations
- Provide students with support and guidance on how to deal with problems.
- Work with students to develop and improve their skills.
- Mediate and improve relationships between students, parents, and teachers.
- Counsel individuals and groups as required.
- Conduct assessments to determine students' strengths, weaknesses, interests, and aptitudes.
- Update school administration regarding students who need other support services.
- Help school administrators to plan & carryout motivational programs.
Requirements
- Masters/ Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Counseling.
- 2 years of experience as a school counselor can be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of counseling models, methods, and resources.
- Ability to identify and respond to students' needs.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity.
- Computer literate.
- Age below 40.
