JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are a BOI Manufacturing /Exporter Company which has state of the art Manufacturing in Sri Lanka and our Head Office situated in Nawala.
Senior IE Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the Line balancing using IE (Work study) techniques to identify the critical areas of improvement Conduct time, method and production studies and maintain appropriate records in order to maintain SMV accuracy and enhance efficiencies.
- Coordinate with Work Study Costing team to establish standard time for operations where standards have not been determined.
- Coordinate with the Group Leaders to prepare sewing skill Training Plan for Team Members and implement appropriate layout (work distribution plan/Feeding Plan) of lines/sections to facilitate optimum performance.
- Actively participate in new style integration, coordinate with superiors/staff to finalize methods and balance critical path in order to meet the quick change over targets.
- Practice TL/GL (Team Leader/Group Leader) concept in the allocated sewing lines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NDT or a Diploma/Degree in Textile & Clothing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Production Management is only preferred.
- 1 - 2 years relevant work experience in the Apparel Industry is vital.
- Knowledge in GSD or having GSD License will be an added advantage.
