Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field from an accredited university/professional institution
- Minimum 02 - 04 years’ relevant work experience in an Apparel manufacturing environment
Location - Kandy
Responsibilities & Skills
- Should be able to monitor & ensure that all production performance parameters such as output, efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, cut ship ratio, material consumption, etc. are achieved, as per agreed customer compliance and group standards
- Should be able to ensure that daily and monthly production targets are achieved in the assigned area, at the expected level of quality
- Should be able to attend pre-production & pilot appraisal meetings, liaise with cross-functional teams, educate the machine operators, supervisors & in-line quality checkers on the product type and quality specifications
- Should be able to ensure that the planned efficiency targets, output levels, on-time delivery of finished goods are achieved, by coordinating with the respective supervisors and monitoring the efficiency levels of the machine operators, whilst mentoring them when the need arises
- Should be able to educate the machine operators on methods of producing First Time Right (FTR) products by identifying & solving any issues with regard to shortfalls and eliminating root causes of product variations
- Should be a proactive, assertive, forward-thinking individual, who displays control and flexibility in ambiguous/stressful situations
- Should be a team player who could liaise with internal & external cross-functional teams, possess strong problem-solving, analytical, technical and communication skills
- Should be able to perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when the need arises
