Six Senses is currently seeking to hire:

Base Leader & Guest Education Coordinator_MUI

The Base Leader & Guest Education Coordinator is responsible for managing the MUI team and operations of the SHELL, the marine research and education center at Six Senses Laamu. The role focuses on enhancing guest educational experiences – such as presentations, excursions, Junior Marine Biology, and workshops – while also evaluating their effectiveness and providing team training. Strong skills in team management and science communication are essential, with a background in marine biology, conservation, or sustainability highly preferred.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a 5-star resort or similar establishment
• Education background (preferably Masters) in Science - biology (marine and conservation) Education, Media Communication or similar
• Working experience in a practical science communication, education or similar role
• Excellent presentation, communication skills and online events
• Experience in photo, video, or graphic design & creating online content for social media platforms
• Comfortable swimmer and snorkeler
• Passion for marine conservation and knowledgeable about tropical marine life and its conservation
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (Fluent English)
• PADI Open Water (or equivalent) qualification
• Experience managing diverse and dynamic teams
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small team in remote locations
