Position: Program Manager
Organization: Department of Social Responsibility (DSR), Methodist Headquarters, Sri Lanka
Location: Colombo
Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience

The Department of Social Responsibility (DSR) of the Methodist Church of Sri Lanka is seeking a committed and experienced individual to serve as Program Manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for social transformation, particularly in managing development projects funded by international donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and coordinate the implementation of donor-funded projects in alignment with DSR’s mission and objectives.
- Prepare high-quality narrative reports, case studies, and related documentation as required.
- Develop compelling project proposals for donor consideration.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with international donors, partner organizations, and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise project staff and ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and results-based monitoring.
- Represent DSR in partner meetings, reviews, workshops, and external evaluations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Age: 40 years and above
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing development programs, with hands-on exposure to foreign donor-funded projects
- Strong skills in report writing, proposal development, and documentation
- Familiarity with international donor requirements and reporting standards
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience working with faith-based or community development organizations
- Sensitivity to cultural, gender, and disability inclusion perspectives
