Research Officer

Construction Research Centre (Orugodawatta)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the above capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the Research Agenda of Construction Research Centre.
• Identify research priorities in collaboration with the Management.
• Conduct research and support the commercialization of research findings.
• Ensure environmental health and safety standards are maintained in all research activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Should possess Bachelor's degree in Science (with physics & chemistry) / Materials Engineering from a recognized University.
• A minimum of one year experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an Industry or Research Laboratory setting.
• Experience in Research and Development work will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required and ability to function well in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Computer applications are essential.
• Age below 30 years.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
