Accounts Executive
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management from a recognized university in Sri Lanka or Part qualification in CA/CMA/ACCA
- Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a manufacturing company. Experience in an audit firm is an added advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Hands-on experience with SAP B1 is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet work deadlines with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of banking procedures, tax procedures, and treasury management
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely management reports
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring compliance
- Process accounts payable, receivable and payroll transactions
- Liaise with distributors, banks and government institutions
- Support budget preparation, cost analysis and variance reporting
- Assist in tax calculations, statutory filings and compliance
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
