Executive – Laboratory Operations - Madampe
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of final products is in line with required standards and approve products that meet specifications.
- Maintain all lab equipment in proper working condition and ensure they operate under standard conditions to meet target performance.
- Ensure accuracy of all laboratory tests in compliance with standard test procedures (STPs) and special methods.
- Oversee and maintain general housekeeping within the laboratory to uphold a clean and organized environment.
- Implement and sustain 5S practices to improve efficiency and safety.
- Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards.
- Take adequate safety precautions to prevent work-related accidents within the lab environment.
- Arrange the dispatch of final products as per order sheet specifications without delay.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of customer sample analyses.
- Perform additional duties relevant to the current role, as and when assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in science (Four years), with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized institution or
- A Master's degree (MSc or MPhil) in a chemistry-related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in science with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized institution.
- Experience in laboratory operations or in the manufacturing sector will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge in laboratory and people management.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Good understanding of quality and safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
