Executive – Laboratory Operations - Madampe

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of final products is in line with required standards and approve products that meet specifications.
  • Maintain all lab equipment in proper working condition and ensure they operate under standard conditions to meet target performance.
  • Ensure accuracy of all laboratory tests in compliance with standard test procedures (STPs) and special methods.
  • Oversee and maintain general housekeeping within the laboratory to uphold a clean and organized environment.
  • Implement and sustain 5S practices to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards.
  • Take adequate safety precautions to prevent work-related accidents within the lab environment.
  • Arrange the dispatch of final products as per order sheet specifications without delay.
  • Ensure the timely preparation and submission of customer sample analyses.
  • Perform additional duties relevant to the current role, as and when assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in science (Four years), with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized institution or
  • A Master's degree (MSc or MPhil) in a chemistry-related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in science with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in laboratory operations or in the manufacturing sector will be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong knowledge in laboratory and people management.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy.
  • Good understanding of quality and safety standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
