Join our team as a Senior Bulk Merchandiser
Location: Colombo 03, Sri Lanka.
Roles & Responsibility
- Managing bulk production from order placement to garment delivery.
- Follow up with the production on a daily basis and pushing factory to meet delivery on time.
- Manage sampling critical path and ensure planned sample delivery dates are achieved.
- Weekly Critical Path correspondence with the factory and customer.
- Factory capacity allocation and management.
- Conduct all aspects of sampling and fabric testing according to SOP's.
- Liase with external stakeholders and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Oversee the handover of confirmed styles to the production team. Ensure all details are complete and well presented.
- Receive a detailed and complete handover from the development merchandising team and ensure all details are clearly understood and all parameters are verified.
- Send courier packages to customers and internal packages to local suppliers as required by following the relevant SOP.
- Check the Buyer PO to ensure all details (price, delivery etc. are correct).
- Develop and maintain good relations with Customers and Suppliers. You will be responsible for Customer Service and company guidelines for communicating with customers and suppliers must be adhered to at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the industry with experience of bulk production. Experience working with Tesco customer would be an additional advantage.
- A Degree or Professional qualification in Marketing or Merchandising.
- Able to manage pressure and have good leadership skills.
- Exceptional team working skills and numerical & Analytical skills is required.
- Has previously worked with an ERP system like SAP is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (Both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
