Sales Administrator / Intern-Sales Administrator
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift pattern: Your shifts will be scheduled between 9am and 9pm UK time (Hybrid Work), offering flexibility within our core operating hours.
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to support our sales team and ensure smooth, efficient sales operations. You will be responsible for a range of sales administrative tasks, including processing orders, coordinating customer communication, maintaining accurate sales records, and supporting the sales team to help achieve company goals. This role is key to enabling the sales team to focus on driving revenue while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing team.
- Attend networking events to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention.
- Suggest upgrades or additional products/services that may interest clients.
- Craft business proposals and contracts to generate additional revenue.
- Negotiate with clients to secure the most attractive terms.
- Equip staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
- Review client feedback and implement necessary changes.
- Stay updated with industry trends to ensure our offerings remain relevant.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product information and resolving issues related to orders, returns, or complaints.
- Help manage relationships with key clients by maintaining regular communication and ensuring they receive timely, quality service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service over the phone, by email, and in person.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
