Finance Executive
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and processing payments accurately and timely for all Creditors based on the company terms and guidelines
- Verification and maintaining records for Supplier Invoices along with follow up and communication on a timely basis
- Ability to raise Customer Invoices based on Contracts and follow up on collection
- Reviewing the daily transactions recorded, including Bank reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of the General Ledger for preparation of monthly accounts
- Maintaining associated supporting schedules and workings for preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Preparing the GST/VAT/WHT and other Tax statements and ensuring timely filing and payment of the dues
- Timely reconciliation of the cash floats given to other departments
- Reviewing the petty cash transactions and timely reimbursement
- Coordinating with the Admin and Travel Department for operations and keeping records accurately
- Assisting with Preparation of Reports for Business Units
- Coordinating with Banks with regards to operations
- Assisting with External Audit
- Circulation of Reports required by Management on a timely basis
- Carrying out any other tasks assigned by the Management
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Part qualification from a recognized financial body (CASL/ ACCA)/ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Accounting
- Should be a good team player and with excellent Communication skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in an IT, Manufacturing or Retail Industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Big 4 Audit Firm, will be an advantage
- Experience with Xero or any other reputable accounting software
- Computer literacy with an excellent command of the MS Office package
- Should be proactive, accountable, and able to work independently with minimum supervision
