Job Description:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc.).
- Inspect raw materials (especially fish) upon receipt to ensure freshness and compliance with specifications.
- Supervise and verify quality control checks at all stages of production—from cleaning, cooking, canning, sealing, to labeling.
- Maintain accurate and complete quality assurance documentation, including batch records and inspection reports.
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to ensure supplier compliance and consistent product quality.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of finished goods to prevent contamination or spoilage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Agriculture or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the food processing industry, preferably seafood or canned products.
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, SLSI, etc.).
- Experience in internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
