Assistant Service Manager - (Refrigerator)

Varun Beverages is the second largest PepsiCo franchisee in the world (outside the US) of carbonated soft drinks and non-carbonated beverages sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo like Pepsi, 7up, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Sting, Ole Brands & Aquafina. We are in the process of strengthening our Marketing Equipment Management team and looking for a best potential candidate for the above post.

Primary Role:

To Support Marketing Equipment Department Support in administrating different functions like Parts Management, Equipment Movement, Supplier Bills processing, Equipment Inventory management and Asset Database Management.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Monitor Equipment Moves for Customer Satisfaction.
• Ensure that lead times for equipment moves are minimised.
• Model customer service behaviour to the organisation.
• Ensure that the service department meets AOP objectives.
• Fully utilise the equipment asset base.
• Processing Supplier Bills for Timely Payments.
• Sustain best practice processes and systems to enhance organisational efficiency.
• Collect, monitor, update and reinforce core work measures.
• Implement Process for Parts Management.
• Provide coaching and support to entire service organisation in Documentation Accuracy.
• Ensure that regulatory requirements are met by workforce.
• Insure that assets are maintained in a clean and organised manner.

Candidate profile:

• B.Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical.
• Three-year experience in home appliance service field.
• Age below 37 years.
• Proficiency in using MS Office packages.
• Ability to converse in English, Sinhala and Tamil would be an added advantage.
