Assistant Manager - Internal Audit
AB Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager - Internal Audit to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our internal audit functions, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the execution of instructions from the Manager Audit/Group Chief Internal Auditor.
- Conduct internal audits, including financial statement analysis.
- Prepare and finalize audit reports in a timely manner.
- Liaise with management to obtain comments, evaluate their appropriateness, and escalate violations for further action by relevant departments.
- Follow up on the implementation of controls.
- Coordinate and plan audits for the company, including presenting the final outcome to the Manager Audit/Group Chief Internal Auditor and Management.
- Assist the Group Investigation function in carrying out investigations as required.
- Provide proper direction to audit teams entrusted with audits.
Requirements:
- Completion of the Corporate Level of the CA Sri Lanka examination according to the current curriculum or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a reputed audit firm.
- Previous experience in the whole goods manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with the MS Office package and working in a computerized environment.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
