Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Business Development

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving sales growth in the Maldivian market. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven individual with a strong understanding of solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as a key representative of the company in the region and contribute to the branch’s growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential business opportunities in the Maldives for solar panel installations (residential, commercial, and industrial).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with the technical and operations teams to ensure feasibility, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities in the Maldives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years experience in business development or sales, preferably within the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Prior experience in the renewable energy or solar industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships and close deals.
  • Sound knowledge of solar technology and renewable energy market dynamics.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel frequently within the Maldives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
