Overview of the role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – Sales to lead our automotive sales operations in Kandy. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for the automotive industry and a proven track record in sales leadership. You will oversee the performance of showroom and network sales for Nissan, Suzuki, and Renault passenger vehicles, ensuring targets are met and customer satisfaction is exceeded.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the Kandy region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and after-sales support.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive promotional campaigns and brand visibility.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Full or part qualification in SLIM/CIM or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Required skills to be successful

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and manage a high-performing team.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
