Senior Manager / Manager – National Bodyshop

Overview of the role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager – National Bodyshop to lead and manage Bodyshop operations across our aftersales network in Sri Lanka. This role will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability across all service workshops.
Key responsibilities
- Manage national Bodyshop operations, ensuring efficient manpower planning, aftersales marketing campaigns, and productivity enhancements to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
- Monitor operational metrics including man-hours sold, productivity, parts efficiency, and service appointments to ensure consistent policy adherence and performance.
- Lead and support the development of business plans, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts while tracking KPIs across the service network.
- Drive employee development through training plans and performance evaluations, fostering a high-performance and learning-driven culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and key external stakeholders to support business growth.
- Collaborate closely with the parts sales and distributor teams by providing market intelligence and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Oversee day-to-day functional and operational service activities to ensure seamless workshop performance and customer satisfaction.
What equips you for the role
- An MBA and a bachelor's degree or other advanced analytical or finance degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly the passenger vehicle industry.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive sector, with exposure to Bodyshop operations, is essential.
