Join our team in Sri Lanka as an Account Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide accounting and administrative services to a portfolio of insurance/reinsurance clients
- Review cashbooks, investment account schedules and MI Reports prepared by other team members
- Prepare/review financial statements and detailed working papers for a portfolio of insurance/reinsurance clients on a monthly and quarterly basis as needed
- Build and develop relationships with client personnel and service providers to better identify and understand client needs
- Prepare annual US GAAP and IFRS financials
- Assist with the management of the external audit process by acting as a key contact and by providing all requested information to the auditors
- Complete ad-hoc projects as set from time to time due to client requirements
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of client deadlines and requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Must have a full professional qualification in ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience in an accounting/auditing/finance role in the insurance/reinsurance sector is a must
- Knowledge of the international insurance/reinsurance market and regulatory environment would be an advantage
- Knowledge of US GAAP, preferably, or IFRS
- Advanced computer literacy skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong financial reporting abilities, business process acumen and analytical skills
- Experience of operating in a matrix management structure
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Team management experience will be an added advantage

The salary for the position is open for negotiation, and a transport allowance will be provided for the selected candidate. Working hours are 11.00am to 8.00pm, with the ability to work outside those hours if required.
