Deputy Sales Manager – Projects

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage and drive project sales to meet and exceed company targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and developers.
  • Oversee and support the sales process for project-related inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget.
  • Analyze project sales figures, track trends, and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Coordinate project-related activities with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Ensure that all project-related sales activities align with company policies and objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and bids.
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints related to project delivery and sales.
  • Manage the showroom when necessary to ensure smooth operations.

The person

  • We are looking for a result-oriented individual with a proven track record in project sales.
  • The ideal candidate must be over 25 years old, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or project management role.
  • Experience in hardware, building materials, or related industries will be highly preferred.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in handling B2B sales and managing large-scale projects will be an added advantage.
  • Full or part-qualified in SLIM/CIM or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written in English and Sinhala.
