TENDER MANAGER

We are looking for a Tender Manager to manage the end-to-end tender process. The role involves preparing and submitting bids while ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements. Strong coordination, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize daily departmental tasks, review progress at the end of each day, and ensure performance goals are met.
  • Guide and mentor Tender Officers and trainees to build their capabilities, improve efficiency, and support professional growth through structured training.
  • Track team performance metrics and submit timely reports to management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure smooth communication within the department and with other teams.
  • Coordinate and conduct departmental meetings, maintaining accurate minutes and follow-ups.
  • Oversee the tender process, from preparation to submission, ensuring compliance, documentation accuracy, and timely government order deliveries.
  • Liaise with the finance department to fulfill budgetary and financial needs relevant to tenders and departmental operations.
  • Coordinate NMRA registrations and maintain regulatory documentation in line with government tender requirements.
  • Evaluate workflows, implement procedural improvements, and make effective decisions on daily managerial affairs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of tenders before and after submission, aligning with company policies and protocols.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Public Procurement, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in tender management, procurement coordination, or a similar administrative/operations role.
  • Proven experience in handling government tenders, bid bonds, and regulatory documentation is essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and documentation processes in a regulated environment (healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or similar industry preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in team coordination, workflow planning, and communication across departments.
