AN AGRONOMIST / AGRICULTURE OFFICER

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Agronomist / Agriculture Officer to join our office operating at Dehiwala. The ideal candidate should have a positive approach to get involved in Hydroponic / Greenhouse Cultivation systems with flexibility and commitment are key attributes and competencies sought.
Responsibilities
- Management of Plant Nursery.
- Implement Hydroponic cultivation systems.
- Manage and supervise protected cultivation (both soil based and hydroponics) in greenhouses.
- Developing/monitoring nutrient management plans to optimize crop yields.
- Identifying / Promoting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) / crop management strategies.
Qualification and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute.
- Previous experience in protected cultivation (soil based/hydroponic) is mandatory.
- Exposure and knowledge in High Density Planting methods is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and farmers is a prerequisite.
