OPERATIONS MANAGER

PRE-OPENING - HOTEL SECTOR (FULL-TIME)

WHO DO WE LOOK FOR?

A Pre-Opening Operations Manager in the hotel sector plays a pivotal role in laying the foundation for a successful launch. Your responsibilities go far beyond standard operations— you’re essentially the architect of the guest experience before the first guest even walks through the door. This role demands a blend of strategic planning, hands-on leadership, and deep hospitality know-how. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and can turn a blueprint into a living, breathing guest experience. We are looking for a professional in the industry to oversee our entire operation in apartment and other property rental, leisure centre management, and handle ongoing construction projects in hotel leisure centres from the initial stage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Coordination & Timelines: Collaborate with ownership, architects, government agencies, SLTDA, contractors to ensure the property is ready on schedule and aligns with brand standards.
  • Recruitment, Training & inspiring the staff
  • Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures across all department’s front office, housekeeping, F&B, marketing & sales, Finance etc.
  • Ensure all legal, health, and safety certifications are secured before opening.
  • Vendor & Procurement Management
  • System Setup
  • Budgeting & Forecasting & manage cash flow
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for pre-opening campaigns, soft openings, and PR events.
  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations
  • Implement and maintain high service standards in line with brand vision
  • Inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Capable of upkeep of properties, facilities and cabanas etc.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the hotel sector
  • Passed G.C.E. O/L and A/L examinations
  • A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management is a strong advantage
  • Aged between 30 – 55 years
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for operational excellence
