Quality Assurance Lead / Controller

(Automobile Assembly Line)

Western Automobile Assembly Private Limited (WAA) is a pioneering automotive company that has established Sri Lanka’s largest semi-knocked down (SKD) vehicle assembly plant in Kuliyapitiya. We are seeking an experienced and committed Quality Assurance Lead / Controller to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Automobile Vehicle Assembly Plant. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of quality at every stage of the vehicle assembly process.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the automobile industry. (Mandatory)
• Strong understanding of vehicle assembly processes and quality control systems.
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of automotive QA methodologies and standards are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Make sure all quality steps are followed during vehicle assembly.
• Do checks, tests, and audits to confirm vehicles meet company and industry standards.
• Find any quality problems, fix them quickly, and keep track of what was done.
• Work together with production and engineering teams to improve quality and avoid mistakes.
• Keep records and reports of checks, test results, and any issues found.
• Support and guide the assembly team to follow quality procedures and do their best work.
