Finance Executive (US experience)

Engage Financial Solutions is an Australian-based business operations service provider, specialising in paraplanning, accounting, auditing, administration. As we continue our expansion into the USA and other global markets, we seek a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to become part of our dynamic and growing team for our US market.

Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting a US based client by:

  • Recording and posting daily financial transactions
  • Organizing and maintaining financial records
  • Preparing financial reports (balance sheets, income statements)
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Applying accrual accounting principles to allocate revenue and costs
  • Reviewing Profit & Loss statements for accuracy
  • Assisting with variance analysis and ad hoc financial tasks
  • Collaborating with accountants and cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a structured environment. You’ll need:

  • A degree or professional qualification in Accounting
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with US BPO experience required
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and DEXT
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, macros)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and accuracy
  • Initiative to improve processes and work independently
