We’re Hiring! Assistant Engineer – Plant (Chilaw)
EL-TORO Roofing Products Limited, a pioneer in Sri Lanka’s roofing industry, is expanding its state-of-the-art production facility in Chilaw. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Engineer – Plant to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & implement production schedules to meet business goals
- Monitor production processes for maximum efficiency and quality
- Plan and allocate labour & resources to meet demand
- Drive performance improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with the engineering team to maintain and upgrade plant infrastructure
- Oversee maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with EN 494 and industry standards
- Promote health, safety, and good manufacturing practices within the plant
Requirements:
- B.Sc. Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Production, or Manufacturing (with experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- ERP knowledge (SAP) is an added advantage
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Self-driven, able to work independently, and a team player
- Age below 40 years
Factory Location: Anawilundawa, Chilaw
