Base Office Location: Battaramulla - Sri Jayawardenapura
Employment Type: Full-Time (8.30AM - 5.30PM), Saturday (8.30AM - 1.30PM) - Case Basis
Senior ELV Technician
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ELV/ ICT/ telecom/ electrical system installations.
- Minimum NVQ Level 4 or higher qualification from a recognized technical/vocational institution.
- Certifications in ELV technologies are a plus.
- Proficiency in system drawings, termination, splicing, testing and commissioning.
- Strong leadership, coordination, team, and resource management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety codes and standards.
- Hands-on expertise in IP and Analog systems: Wi-Fi, Data, Telephone, CCTV, Access Control, PA, Fire Alarm and Electrical systems.
Role-Based Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, installation, integration, and commissioning of ELV/ ICT and electrical systems.
- Lead structured cabling, equipment mounting, system labeling, testing and certification.
- Diagnose faults and resolve complex technical issues across multiple sub-systems.
- Integrate ELV systems with building management systems (BMS) for monitoring and control.
- Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance of ELV systems.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, reports, logs and service activities.
- Ensure and enforce all work adheres to health, safety, industry standards and compliance.
ELV Technician
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1+ year/s of experience in ELV/ICT and structured cabling systems.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or higher qualification from a recognized technical/vocational institution.
- Knowledge in IP and Analog ELV systems: CCTV, Telephone, Access Control, PA, Fire Alarm, Wi-Fi, Data, and General Electrical is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and independently perform installation.
- Be experienced and capable of using hand tools and power tools for professional installation work.
- Experience with testing and diagnostic tools (Digital Multimeters, Clamp Meters, OTDR, Network Toner and Pair Testers).
Role-Based Key Responsibilities
- Assist in system installations, including wiring/ structured cabling, device mounting, basic configuration, terminations, labeling, and testing.
- Install trunking, conduit, and containment systems to ensure organized and protected cable routing.
- Support on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, including ELV systems fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, components used, and ELV As-Built document.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with team leads and follow instructions to ensure timely project delivery.
Intern / Trainee ELV Technician
Qualifications & Experience
- Passion for ELV/ICT, electrical and telecom technologies and willingness to learn and grow.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification from TVEC, LAVTC, NVT, DTET, NAITA, UoVT, VTA or any recognized technical/vocational institution.
Role-Based Key Responsibilities

Personal Attributes & General Requirements
- Should be a strong team player with multitasking capabilities and the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure, customer-facing environments across the island.
- Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites across Sri Lanka. (In accordance with health and safety guidelines, the company will provide suitable transport, accommodation, and meals for outstation assignments.)
- Ability to maintain accurate service records and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery in line with project.
- Must demonstrate strong team communication skills and consistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidance from team leaders and management.
- A valid driving license (motor vehicle or motorcycle) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration including basic salary, allowances, facilities would be offered depending on the skills, attitude, qualifications, and experiences.
