ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
We are a Corporate Management Services provider to the international shipping trade and looking for a Result Oriented, System Conscious Asst Finance Manager with Strong Leadership qualities and Initiative capability to streamline the Finance Management System by introducing Systems, Procedures, Controls with SOPs.
Key Tasks:
- Establishment of Finance Management, Cost Management, Financial Accounting, Corporate Financing and Internal Control Systems with day to day monitoring of ongoing business operation and Analysis & Evaluation of and Investment and Business expansion.
Management Scope of the Position
- To establish and ensure Proper Management System Function of Corporate Financing.
- Reviewing ongoing Business Operation Practice (BOP) and updating finance management systems and procedures with best practices to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Updating the Board of Directors (BOD) on the financial status and performance of the group including individual strategic business entities with accurate data & information.
- Close coordinating with head of operations at all member companies of the Acrus group, offering finance management guide lines and implementing business strategies.
- Enhance and Improve overall Accountability of existing Business Operating Practice (BOP).
- Improve the Accuracy and reliability of Financial Accounting with better Controls & Monitoring.
Basic Qualifications
CIMA / ICASL part / full Professional or suitable Academic qualification in finance accounting or business management with more than five years of experience in Internal auditing and Financial accounting in a reputed business organization.
Candidate Profile of the Position
Prospective Candidate should be professionally well equipped with the best finance management practices to provide a work leadership to the Acrus Holdings Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd which is the Finance & Investment management arm of the Acrus group in order to deliver a range of Finance & Investment management services for the group.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Working as a key leadership element in Acrus Holdings Ceylon, for organizing, implementing, managing and delivering following management function to ACRUS group.
- Finance Planning & Management and Investment & Business Management.
- Overlooking Financial and Management Accounting and Project Accounting.
- Corporate financing and Project financing Banking and Treasury Management.
- Asset Management, Inventory Control and overlooking Supply chain management.
- Corporate Financing & Banking with Working Capital Assessment & Management.
- Financial forecasting, Budgeting, Cost management and Tax Planning.
- Formulating a Finance Management policies based on ACRUS BOP.
- Timely submission of final accounts for External Auditors.
- Payroll Accounting, reconciliation and confirmation.
- Overlooking the Supply Chain Management and Stock Controlling.
- Traceability Management, Creditors and Debtors Management.
- Coordinating with outsourced accounting service to present group final accounts.
