Job Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department as an Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting. The role includes preparing financial statements, handling regulatory submissions, supporting management reporting, coordinating with auditors, and assisting in the Annual Report process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements as per the applicable financial reporting framework
  • Preparation of related regulatory (CBSL) filings and preparation of management information
  • Perform loan impairment calculations to fulfil accounting requirements
  • Liaise with external auditors and other stakeholders regarding financial reporting matters
  • Assist in the Annual Report preparation process

Candidate Prerequisites:

  • Must be a member or a passed finalist of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA)
  • Should have a minimum of 02 – 03 years of experience in a similar capacity in a bank, finance company or a reputed audit firm
  • Should possess knowledge and understanding of SLFRSs and other regulations relevant to the preparation of financial statements of banks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages and good communication skills
