INSPECTION OFFICER – GOLD LOAN OPERATIONS

As an Inspection Officer - Gold Loan Operations, you will be responsible for accurately evaluating gold articles, providing fair disbursements, achieving business targets, and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations. The role also involves promoting the company’s gold loan services through marketing initiatives and business development efforts. You will report directly to the Senior Manager – Gold Loan Operations and be part of a dynamic team of professionals in the Non-Banking Financial Services sector. The Job Role

  • Evaluate gold articles and ensure accurate assessments for lending purposes.
  • Disburse loans based on approved policies and assessed value.
  • Monitor and comply with all operational procedures, rules, and regulations related to gold loans.
  • Collaborate with the branch team to achieve lending and business growth targets.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract customers.

Experience / Qualifications / Skills

  • Possess Minimum 02 years of experience in Junior Executive or Executive grades and handled similar job functions (preferably in Finance / Banking Industry).
  • Passed G.C.E (O/L) and G.C.E (A/L).
  • A sound knowledge in identification and assessment of the gold articles, sound knowledge in entire gold loan operations and procedures, lending, financial products, Credit Evaluation, Business Development, Market insights.
  • Competency in MS Office package/computer systems.
  • Good communication skills in both Sinhala & English and the ability to communicate in Tamil will be an advantage.
