KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage the entire gold loan portfolio across the branch network.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the gold loan business.
• Supervise branch-level gold loan operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor gold valuation, storage, and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and security.
• Conduct regular training sessions for branch staff to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with risk and compliance teams to manage credit risk and mitigate fraud.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in gold loan operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of gold loan products, market trends, and valuation practices.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and loan management systems.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala / Tamil is an added advantage.
