Job Title: ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

CONTROL EXPERTS (PVT) LTD is a trusted partner in providing Automation and SCADA Systems, All kinds of Low Voltage Switchboards and related technical services for local and international markets.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and committed Accounts Executive with exceptional communication skills to join our team in Colombo.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing payments based on accurate source documentation.
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports in line with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintaining general ledger, bank reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
  • Preparing tax schedules and ensuring compliance with VAT, and income tax requirements.
  • Liaising with auditors and supporting the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Handling invoicing, receivables, payables, and petty cash operations.
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Supporting the Finance Manager in ad hoc reporting and process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or part qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a project-based or engineering environment.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
