GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Location: Homagama

Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the group, including monthly and annual consolidation of accounts across all subsidiaries.
  • Manage statutory audits, internal controls, final accounts, and compliance with all financial reporting standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Supervise treasury functions, banking relationships, payments, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including SVAT and statutory return submissions.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the group.
  • Manage corporate documentation, regulatory submissions, and company secretarial coordination.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance & IT teams across the group to drive performance and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • ERP and related SOPs improvements in accordance with companies’ strategies.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant with membership in CA Sri Lanka.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, OR a Master’s Degree with Finance or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 7 years of senior financial management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or within a reputed organization in Sri Lanka or internationally.
  • Strong knowledge of group accounting, taxation, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage finance teams across multiple business units effectively.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities with the ability to drive performance, mentor teams, and influence cross-functional decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
