Administrative Assistant - Colombo

We are looking for a dynamic, detail oriented candidate for the position of “Administrative Assistant” to join our Treasury / Stock Control Division, at our Head Office in Colombo. The role is designated for a self-motivated professional who possesses an impeccable work ethic and the ability to maintain precision while working under pressure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and efficiency of our supply chain documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the systematic verification of payment records and ensure the integrity of internal databases through accurate and timely data entry.
  • Review and audit distribution and dispatch paperwork to ensure all records are complete, accurate and compliant with company standards.
  • Monitor transaction flows and prepare detailed reports to highlight and investigate any discrepancies between system records and physical data.
  • Facilitate the processing and administrative follow up for corporate insurance policies and claims to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Academic - Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level in Commerce Stream
  • Professional - Part-qualification in a professional Accounting body
  • Experience - 03 to 04 years of previous work experience in Accounting or Finance environment
  • Technical Skills – Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy
