Visiting Lecturer - English

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced English Lecturer to lead the English Modules of the Foundation Programme.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
- Experience teaching English Language and English Literature at Edexcel/Cambridge IAL and IGCSE levels
- Ability to work weekday morning hours
- An undergraduate degree or higher qualification in English or ESL-related disciplines.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Previous teaching or lecturing experience in higher education or foundation programmes preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with international curriculum standards will be an added advantage.
Job Description
- Conduct lectures and academic support sessions for English for academic purposes.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials in line with NCC Education standards.
- Enhance students’ academic reading, writing, listening, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Guide students in academic writing, research, and communication techniques.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and academic counseling.
- Maintain academic records and support quality assurance processes.
- Participate in academic meetings, curriculum planning, and student development activities.
