We are currently looking for a dynamic and result-oriented individual to fulfill the following position.
Officer / Executive – Motor Underwriting
The Role
- Work involves in handling of motor underwriting of products including underwriting of new / Renewal and issuing of quotations.
- The applicant should be responsible, efficient and should work under supervision of the respective superiors.
- Maintain and develop efficient and profitable underwriting practices.
- Communicating relevant information, respond to complaints from customers and give after sales support when requested.
- Monitor the processing progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements, and ensure adherence to the laws and policies.
- Handle the processing with accuracy and timeliness.
The Profile
- Should have successfully completed the G.C.E. A/L examination and males preferred; age should be below 30 years of age.
- Minimum of 02 - 04 years of experience in Motor Underwriting is mandatory.
- A degree or diploma in insurance or an equivalent academic qualification will be an added advantage.
- Part qualification in Insurance exams would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to manage time effectively and ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve business objectives.
- Presentation skills and ability to apply IT knowledge in day-to-day job functions will be an added advantage.
