Senior Executive - Maintenance
We are a leading manufacturer, exporter, importer & supplier of premium quality veterinary health products to the livestock industry of Sri Lanka and to the international market, and are looking for energetic, ambitious & self-motivated candidate to be a part of energetic Farmchemie team as,
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong daily floor presence and monitor machine performance.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Lead machine breakdown handling and conduct root cause analysis.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor and report maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and PM compliance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling multi-machine and multi-line production operations.
- Hands-on experience with industrial milling, mixing, or processing equipment
- Proven experience in implementing and improving planned maintenance systems
- Experience in leading and developing maintenance teams.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methods (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Ability to prepare and manage maintenance schedules and records.
- KPI-focused and target-oriented approach.
- Good communication skills with operational teams and management.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning systems / CMMS preferred.
