PURCHASING EXECUTIVE – REAL ESTATE
We are seeking energetic and responsible Island Wide Purchasing Executives to support procurement operations for our active real estate and tourism development projects located across multiple districts in Sri Lanka, especially in beachside and tourism focused areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the real estate, construction, hospitality, or tourism development industry.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, supplier coordination, and site purchasing operations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel island wide for project coordination and supplier management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle purchasing activities for assigned project sites island wide.
- Source materials, hardware, furniture, fittings, and related services from approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with project teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Obtain quotes, compare prices, and support supplier negotiations.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid project delays.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate material replenishment for sites.
- Prepare purchase orders, delivery followups, and procurement documentation.
- Resolve procurement, supplier, and delivery-related issues efficiently.
- Support cost control while following company procurement procedures.
- Travel island wide, especially to coastal and tourism project locations, when required.
- Coordinate local purchasing activities to support smooth site operations.
