ASSOCIATE MANAGER - FINANCE OPERATIONS (UK CALENDAR - SL SHIFT)

H Connect International is a leading BPO company offering outsourcing services to clients based in the US, UK, and Australia. We are a subsidiary of the Hirdaramani Group, a billion-dollar conglomerate with a 125-year legacy. We are looking for an Associate Manager – Finance Operations to join our team. This role involves leading finance operations, ensuring compliance, reviewing financial reports, analyzing cash flow and variances, overseeing audit activities, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve processes and support informed management decisions.

The Job:

  • Lead and guide the finance operations team in handling daily tasks such as bank reconciliations, invoicing, cash management, and payment setups.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies, while monitoring the team’s adherence.
  • Prepare and review statements, and other financial/management reports to accurately reflect the organization’s financial position.
  • Conduct financial analysis to address issues like cash flow challenges, budget variances, and inefficiencies, and provide guidance on solutions.
  • Oversee audit fieldwork, including testing controls and reviewing financial statements, to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and action plans to senior management and stakeholders, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, compliance) to resolve issues, improve processes, and support team development and performance.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with the UK managers on variance reporting, stay on top of ongoing work, and keep Directors informed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or part-qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA/CMA.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications (SAGE, QB, MYOB, XERO, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
