Senior Associate - Tax

Key Requirements

  • Registered with a professional body (ICASL / CIMA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / CIT) or pursuing a degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in tax or finance/accounting.
  • Flexibility to work long hours when required.
  • Committed to a two-year training program towards a recognized accounting designation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist clients across various industries with tax and corporate services, including preparation and filing of tax returns, tax compliance reviews, tax consultancy, support during investigations, transfer pricing, incorporation, dissolution, and tax ruling processes.
  • Prepare tax returns, draft reports, opinions, and other relevant documents using appropriate tools and software.
  • Conduct research and liaise with colleagues and/or seniors on various tax and corporate matters.
  • Establish and enhance relationships with appropriate client personnel and officers of various government agencies.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, seniors, managers, and other members of the Firm.
  • Provide effective conflict resolution, as needed.
