Application Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line support for business-critical applications
  • Diagnose and resolve application-related issues while minimizing operational disruptions
  • Assist end-users with application-related queries, guidance, and training
  • Monitor application performance, availability, and security
  • Maintain accurate documentation, support logs, and status reports
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to resolve complex issues
  • Support application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with relevant teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in application support or a similar role
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong PR, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in Tamil is mandatory
