Head of Finance & Administration – Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited

Job Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for finance operations and administrative tasks of the Company.
  • Preparation and finalisation of financial audits and audited financial reports in line with applicable accounting standards, monitoring monthly financial reports, attending to tax matters, and liaising with the tax authorities.
  • Cash flow management and liaison with the Investment Department for the execution of effective management of both funds under management and assets under management.
  • Evaluating and executing corporate finance activities, including project management, project evaluation, and funding strategies.
  • Preparing reports and presenting them to the Board and statutory bodies.
  • Attending and preparing reports for the Board-appointed sub-committees.
  • Where necessary, coordinating with subsidiaries in driving the Company’s corporate objectives.
  • Age preferably below 45 years.

Qualifications / Pre-requisites / Requirements for the position;

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-approved University.
  • Member of a professional body: ACCA, CIMA, CA or CFA.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Senior Managerial experience in reputed organisations, with an overall 8 years’ managerial experience.
  • Project management experience and relevant qualifications.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong administrative background with direct exposure to the Board of Directors.
