Junior Executive – Finance

In its drive towards being the forerunner in creating an unmatched retail experience, Softlogic Retail is looking for a results-driven visionary to join their Digital Media team as a Senior Digital Marketing Executive.

The Role

• Finalize monthly bank reconciliations accurately and within deadlines.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain supporting records.
• Prepare financial and management reports as required by the management team.
• Identify and rectify incorrect accounting entries by ensuring timely reversal of erroneous postings.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and disputes.
• Assist the finance team with month-end closing activities and related accounting functions. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Requirement

• Part qualification in ICASL, CMA, or AAT.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role within a commercial sector organization.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Positive attitude with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and support team objectives in a dynamic work environment.
